From what I understand about the Justina case, her pain was written off as a psychiatric condition despite a prior diagnosis of mitochondrial disease. All I can say is THANK GOD I or none of my family members have ever been to this hospital if that is how they treat such illnesses! Mitochondrial diseases are real as are many other ailments that could be written off as "all in one's head".
