Best Indian Restaurant in the RTP!!! – I have been there quite a few times to enjoy their great food after recommendation from a friend. Since then, I had two parties at the restaurant and also ordered catering for my sister's wedding. In all instances, food were excellent and our guests have also praised the quality and taste of the food. This restaurant has become my only choice for Indian food and highly recommend to people who haven't been there yet.
Great Indian Food! Very Affordable!! – My friend and I have been coming here a few times to eat lunch and each time has been really good! The Chef prepares each entree from scratch using authentic Indian recepies. The Afghan chicken is excellent and is also prepared fresh daily! They bring fresh Naan to you upon request and they even have a great garlic naan! This restaurant has a great mix of meat and vegetable dishes. You can taste curry and a little spice in each of his dishes. The Chef is extremely personable and will co... read more
Best Indian Restaurant I've Found EVER – I've eaten at this restaurant (Chefs of India, 748-K East Chatham St., Cary, NC 27511) three times now, and I can't wait to eat there again! I can't remember all the Indian names for the dishes, but the one with baked eggplant is heavenly. I asked for spicy-hot and it certainly was super spicy (well I did specify that). The different kinds of breads are fun to try. They have buffet on weekends. If you are a fan of Indian foods, you will want to check out this place for SURE.
Good food, no integrity – My husband and I used to go to Suchi (now Chef of India) frequently for the buffet. We were always very happy with the service, with the food, and with the price. We would take our friends and family and always leave a 20% tip for our server. We noticed often, though, that the staff was always different and seemed to give the owner or manager a wide berth. Another friend of mine went to the restaurant one day and observed a waitress being yelled at by the owner in full view of the patrons. The waitr... read more
Terrible hygenic conditions – First of all the name you don't know which restaurant, you ask the reception like 'Is this xxx restaurant?", the guy at reception will say "Yes" without realizing what you asked for. In fact we entered thinking as if a different restaurant but the front desk guy lied . We had a major set back about the integrity of the restaurant. we thought ok let's try here.Food is somehow manageable, however terrible hygenic conditions and service was terrible. The waiter was more interested to watch the TV. ... read more
Confused restaurant Suchi or Chef of India – I had lunch at this place during weekday. This is the worst place ever I had Indian food in United States. Everything tastes like as it is kept from days. Esp Gulab Jamun...Oh my god..Its awful...I would never go to this place again. Price is less, I think we get what we paid for, but we do get nice food with this price range. Vegan, delicious, yum! – The food is wonderful, and there are loads of vegan options- even on the buffet. I highly recommend the place. And, if you're vegan, it's one of the few places in town where they know what that means and are excited to make vegan food.
Authentic Indian in the Triangle – Kiran the chef of the now defunct Suchi and now called Chef of India is very authentic. it isn't watered down for the masses. I usually eat there once a week.
Good place, nice food – Just had a party there. mgmt was vey accomodating to all special requests. Price was reasonable and food was awesome....
