It is incomprehensible that knowing the history of oppression and violence the Catholic church has had on indigenous cultures that Catholic University of America would continue the sophomoric luaupalooza. A Native Hawaiian student brought forward that this event was incredibly disrespectful, dripped with appropriation and that student could not be given a guarantee that a complete mocking of her culture would discontinue in the future.
