I want to start by saying I'd give this place 5 stars for atmosphere. I loved the chalk board menus, quaint seating arrangements, patio lighting, and exposed brick. The two star review is for the service, and that's being generous. When we first went inside we sat at the bar. My husband even commented on how cool it was inside. Due to our location near the trolly stop, the museum, and the park, we have a lot of foot traffic that only wants to stop in for the a/c, a cup of complimentary water, and to be left alone to cool off. Great little local gem I stumbled across when I got to Ikea an hour too early! Excellent breakfast sandwich and even better latte. Very friendly staff as well! Thanks for making my morning!
I visit Tampa 2-3 times a year and The Bunker is a must stop everytime. I have taken friends and family when they travel with me and they all rave about how good the food and service is. 5 Stars isn't enough for this place!
Lovely lunch, amazing coffee and thankful for a special moment when the friendly employees took time to explain the history of the chickens outside to my daughter.
I was staying with family at the quarter and wanted a pressed cuban bread breakfast sandwich but didn't feel like walking all the way to La Sagunda. When I came in for coffee I saw that you made the same thing, and with their bread. Both the coffee and the food were great, along with the service! Will be back when I am in town.
