The only thing Buffalo Grille lacks is adequate space that can hold more diners. The lengthy wait is a common cause of complaint, but it certainly speaks volumes that diners will stand around and wait rather than go elsewhere. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and this place does it up right. Choose from a large assortment of American and Mexican breakfast items. Select from a variety of egg preparations, sandwiches or simply opt for a healthy chicken salad. The lunch and dinner menus are also filled with many... read more

Buffalo Grill Rocks!! – Buffalo Grill's Coffee is awesome! I have been known to give it as a birthday or hostess gift! Not to mention their huge, yummy pancakes!! Gotta go!
just average – I've lived in Houston long enough to try Buffalo Grille on many, many occasions. The food is average at best. What makes this spot popular and cool is the location (tony West University Place) and how it is soooooo crowded that it must be good. My last experience was nearly gross. The Migas were overcooked and the refried beans were hard and cracked...like they had been sitting out for a few hours. If you want a good made-to-order breakfast, try Lankford Grocery in Montrose.
Agree! – Buffalo Grille is among the first places I take visitors new to Houston. The first thing I warn people about the place is the wait in line. If you get there during peak hours...be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes. But the wait is well worth it. Don't forget to order a cinnamon roll and bacon!
Saturday Haven – Gotta love a place you can get comfort food on Saturday mornings. The applewood smoked bacon is the best! Casual, comfortable atmosphere.
The Best! – Until recently, I only thought of Buffalo Grille as a great weekend breakfast place. Awesome pancakes, french toast with raspberries, great bacon. Little did I know! Their lunch (and dinner) is out of this world! The chicken tenders and fries are fabulous. I just wish I had known sooner!
My dog wouldn't eat it – bacon that was so past-due it's hard to put into words, burnt, soaked in the bottom of the grease barrel, hard as a brick, unedible by anyone's standards, burnt toast, really strange eggs, even had a wierd color and taste, hash browns that tasted of cheap lard, and also burnt, although the coffee was tasty, although not very hot., if it hasn't been for the part of the bread that wasn't burnt, and the coffee I would have starved. Go to La Peep!
dont believe the hype – i had the worst food there. i ordered french toast and it wasnt cooked all the way so i went back to have them cook it and the lady said "O, you want it cooked well done?" excuse me has anyone ever in their life been served undercooked french toast because you didnt order it well done? i dont think so.
Glorious! – Absolutely no better place for breakfast in Houston! Healthy, tasty food with a Mexican leaning...feels more like Albuquerque or Santa Fe or Tuscon than Houston. Good people watching too... Bring the whole family.
Get there early! – The cinnamon coffee is wonderful as is the peppered bacon. Pancakes are huge and a great value, especially if you order a stack and split with someone (I can only ever eat one). The Bissonnet location is packed on weekend mornings and parking can be difficult. The wait isn't as long as it looks and you can drink some of their terrific coffee and people watch while you wait.
