A couple years ago our dad asked us to help him find assisted care living. He hoped to stay local. I toured the facility with Brook program manager Ayme and later toured with dad. He liked the atmosphere right away. Our dad has always been very independent and competent. We knew the process of moving to assisted living might present challenges. I have the pleasure of knowing the activities coordinator and I know she is always looking for ways to enrich the lives of the residents! Our family also had the pleasure of trick or treating at The Brook of Houghton Lake last Halloween. The residents were all smiles as they enjoyed the littles and passed out candy!
I am so thankful for everyone at the Brook of Houghton Lake!! My Grandparent were there and a good friend of mine resided there for 2 years before he passed!! Can’t say enough about them and the love they showed for all of us and the people the reside there!! Thanks everyone!!!
