About this business

Specialties Most folks know the big places for BBQ: St. Louis, KC, the Carolinas, Memphis, and even Austin. After our success with our community tap house, we decided we'd create a place that would make the people of Spokane reconsider which town reigns supreme when it comes to great BBQ. Incorporating St. Louis, Kansas City, and Carolina styles, our brisket, pulled pork, ribs, hot links, and chicken have a rich, smoky flavor like no other. And with a 155-beer library, 33 taps of local and regional favorites, and a Certified... read more

I’m greatly saddened by the revamp. They used to have the best happy hour, but that has totally changed. Gone is the hipster fusion that I loved. If you like BBQ and traditional picnic food, you’d probably like this. The energy in the restaurant has changed, too. There is now an ordering station in the middle of the restaurant, and only the bar offers traditional restaurant service. I now am in the search for a new haunt. Why, Blackbird, why???

Service was great, the food was amazing and I want to go back- right now! I had brisket and grits- finally someone in Spokane cooks grits properly. The meal was large enough for 2, and that is what some of our party did This is one yummy restaurant

By far the best place to eat in town. Plus the food is fresh like it was made by the heavens, none of that process stuff that they make their food at taco bell or McDonald's. Really can't beat the food. They say it's an America restaurant but they got brisket, tacos; summer time theirs homemade ice cream. `Got a little of everything here. " A must stop an eat place to try great inventive dishes. Wonderful Waiting staff and amazing cheifs.A chill relaxed atmosphere.

This was our first time here and the food was truly amazing! I had the sandwich and soup , both were something I hadn’t had before wan they were delicious. I ordered a Mexican Mule cocktail which they hadn’t heard of and were willing to meet my request. That also was great. We will be back for sure! Oh yeah and their homemade fries are out of this world fresh.
