About this business

Specialties Most folks know the big places for BBQ: St. Louis, KC, the Carolinas, Memphis, and even Austin. After our success with our community tap house, we decided we'd create a place that would make the people of Spokane reconsider which town reigns supreme when it comes to great BBQ. Incorporating St. Louis, Kansas City, and Carolina styles, our brisket, pulled pork, ribs, hot links, and chicken have a rich, smoky flavor like no other. And with a 155-beer library, 33 taps of local and regional favorites, and a Certified... read more

We had a great brunch with delicious food and fresh squeezed grapefruit mimosas. New brunch spot favorite.

Six of us enjoyed breakfast at the Blackbird for my Mom’s Birthday this morning and we LOVED it! Great atmosphere and AMAZING food! Plenty of gluten free choices and farm to table freshness. GO, you won’t be disappointed in any manner!

Poped in here on a Monday for lunch. Great BBQ. The wife and I split a half rack of ribs and tried all the sauses. she loved the Fire Bird and I settled on the Sticky Icky. Great selection of beer too. Kolsch for me. It is close to the Centennial Hotel (old Red Lion). plenty of good sides too.

I called ahead and was able to speak with Chef Nicole about accommodating my special needs diet. She was more than willing to work with me and offered several delicious ideas that would work. Then when we were seated at the table, she came out to speak with me to offer yet another idea!! I was so happy!! My breakfast was perfect, as was everyone else’s at the table. We enjoyed excellent service and delicious food!! Thank you, Blackbird!!

Food is absolutely amazing, but....I would not recommend the bar service. The bartender was extremely slow and not very friendly.
