Loved our dinner there!! Food was amazing. Service was impeccable! Be sure and ask for the Alabama White Sauce. So yummy. Have mac n cheese too!!
It was our first time at Blackbird tonight and it was so delicious!! Loved the dirty fries, the gf o faced sandwich and the burnt ends sandwich. You guys are killin it at BBQ! We will absolutely be back!

This is our first time in Spokane and we chose The Blackbird because it was close to our hotel and because it had good reviews on Yelp. Not only was the food delicious, the service was outstanding. We are jerks and forgot the name of our server, but he went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome. Our favourites were the mac ‘n’ cheese and the buttermilk pie.
All of our meat was delicious, however our sides weren’t awesome. The Mac n cheese is sitting in a bowl of butter, our waiter told us the charred corn salad was a two or three spice level and it was definitely at a 4 out of five. I like spicy but it was even hot for me. The beans weren’t great. Cornbread was a tasteless brick. And lastly our waiter was very inattentive and we had to ask another waiter walking by to refill soda. Not sure we will be going back.
I would not recommend hosting an event through Blackbird. Although the food is tasty, their business practices are questionable & we were charged double than expected because they went off the number the reserved room would fit rather than the number requested. Disappointing.
The food was good. But not good enough to outweigh the fact that you have to order right when you walk through the door, before you sit down. Honestly, had I done my homework, I would not have visited tonight due to that fact. I prefer to sit down, and be greeted by a server who takes our order after ample time to look over the menu. if I wanted to order at the counter, there's plenty of fast food places around to do that at.
