I gave birth at TBI Feb 2017 and had such a wonderful and beautiful experience. I couldn't urge a mama enough to consider this place to bring your baby earth side. Neva was an amazing midwife and always answered all of my questions thoroughly.
I had the pleasure of being cared for by midwife, Susan Sherwood, and recently gave birth to my 3rd baby at the Birthing Inn. I've given birth at a hospital, and birth center in Pittsburgh and by far my experience with Susan and everyone at The Birthing Inn was the best yet! Susan takes as much time as needed, at each and every visit, to make you feel at ease and well cared for. I have attended several births at The Birthing Inn as a doula and have always loved the experiences! Such a beautiful atmosphere, and the midwives and staff are fantastic!
I have worked with two separate midwives from this place and had nothing but headaches and nightmare experiences. As an added bonus if you want to wait an extra 10-30 minutes for midwives who are always behind schedule you can hang out in a lobby that reeks of mint oil and an explosion of cheap aroma therapies. Total overpriced nightmare that looks like a bed and breakfast for birthing moms. Would not recommend the birthing inn to anyone.
Loved the center and loved being under Susan's care!
