I had the most wonderful birth experience here in June. My midwife, Susan Sherwood, made me feel so safe and capable of having my son outside of the hospital without medical intervention. Her confidence gave me confidence. The facility is magical and gorgeous. The birth class we took was super helpful and informative. People think I'm crazy, but I loved giving birth. I think it's because of the awesome support we were given at TBI. I literally recommend this place to every woman I know.
Best freestanding birth center in the Tacoma area!
I had Susan Sherwood as my midwife and I cannot express how amazing the experience I had with her as my midwife. My labor was very long and she made my experience a million times easier than it would have been. I would not have been able to get through the long hours without her. She is extremely experienced which made me feel very comfortable. I was a first time mom so this was my first birthing experience and I will definitely use her as my midwife for my second. It was wonderful! So much better than at a hospital. The atmosphere & flexibility is much more fitting for a laboring woman.
I had my first baby who was not the easiest born in June with Susan and let me say I have worked in hospitals and healthcare and I am so glad I chose the Birthing Inn. I had an amazing experience and felt at home with everyone. I was well cared for and we all worked hard to bring my little Rowyn into the world as a team! Thank you ladies again for your help and encouragement. I couldn't have done it without you :) Great location and very comfortable. Highly educated and experienced you have no worries under their care.
