About this business
All of our products are locally sourced, including our buns, which are fresh baked daily by the Gold Crust Bakery and our beef which is 100% all-natural, vegetarian fed and sourced from local farms through Capitol Meats. Wherever possible we create our menu items in house, including but not limited to: Homemade BBQ Sauce, mayonaise, and all accompanying sauces; homemade pickles; fresh cut daily french fries with our own potato press, fresh cut onions for our "Tobacco" onions.

Sara was AMAZING!!! She took great care of us. We were first time visitors to DC and the employees and customers were so friendly and willing to offer suggestions of places to go and foods to try. Fantastic experience. Oh and the food.....man, the burgers.....just trust me!! GO TRY IT!!!

If you are looking for a great place to hang out, this is the spot. We stopped for a mini-happy hour (the prices dropped at 4 pm with drafts going down by $2 and appetizers lower price) before a larger event at Union Station. Beer was cold, catfish bites were awesome, service, staff and other customers were super. If your looking for that hometown bar in DC this is it. Other food that came out (burgers, salmon salad) looked really good so next time we will plan to eat full service.
We were there last weekend for a special event upstairs. Everything was perfect! The food was yummy and the service was excellent. BIG shout out to Sarah, our bartender for the evening! Everyone at our event commented how nice and fun she was. Best bartender EVER! 🍻
