Verified Renter Laminate flooring in upper units is a huge mistake. There's not enough insulation under the flooring, and residents of lower units hear every footstep or furniture move from above.

Verified Renter Shhh. Don't tell. The Berkshire in Renton is a great place to live. Great staff, spacious apartments, pet and child friendly, and great location at the top of the Ridge with trees russeling and birds singing.

Here’s the updated review incorporating the fact that you were forced to end your lease: Terrible Living Conditions—Avoid This Apartment! I cannot stress enough how awful my experience has been living in this apartment. The management is unresponsive, and the smoking issue is absolutely intolerable. My neighbor smokes heavily, and despite my numerous complaints, management has done nothing to remedy the situation.
