Louisville has some wonderful community theaters with very talented writers and actors. The Bards Town is certainly one of the best. Well worth the money and an excellent restaurant downstairs to boot.

This is the only place we hang out. Best burger in Louisville and the entertainment is second to none.

Terrific play festival - very well acted and directed! Not to mention good new material from the playwrights. Very impressed

Go for the theater! The Bard's Town's tiny stage is home to an unfailingly fine array of new plays. We have yet to be disappointed... This year we got season tickets. Downstairs the service is fantastic. The atmosphere and food are cheerful and robust. I don't know how Doug figured out this magical combination, but it's a great addition to Louisville's je ne sais quois. Affordable, too. Go!

The food is delicious, fast, and fresh. The service is friendly and plugs the shows upstairs, but isn't pushy about it. The talent in any of the productions will floor you. A decent beer selection, but most of it is bottled. This place has good vibes and is very welcoming. If I lived closer I would be here all the time!

I adore this place! I was drawn in by karaoke with Groucho, but I tasted the nachos and new I was a lifelong, loyal customer. The plays are also amazing, and the customer service can't be beat. Every time I'm there I feel like a member of the family.

Food is good, drinks are good, clientele is good. Go see a local play or comedy show, you won't regret it!
