A good shave consists of three things 1- New Sterilized Razor(straight blade) , 2- hot lather not once but twice , 3- Three to four hot towel depending on how tough your beard is and one cold towel to seal the pores .. Aftershave mini facial and powder you up... that's a shave !!!!

Recommendedwent here the day of my wedding so that me and my groomsman could look good on my special day, when we told him the occasion, my man Horell said "say no more, I got you" he set us up with the full wedding package including my favorite beers and breakfast while we wait from the Dominican grill next door! we felt like real VIPs and got the best cut and shave we've ever had, him and his crew had us laughing the whole time! I definately found my new barber!
We just moved to Beverly and my son, who is 10, needed a new barber. I can’t speak highly enough about the experience he’s had with (I think his name is Ben, young guy who’s chair is closest to the exit/entrance). We are picky coming from another large city where barbers were top notch. He takes time with my 10 year old, chats with him and his calm demeanor makes him feel comfortable, as well as inspects the job he’s doing to make sure everything looks perfect. My son has the worst hair! Cowlicks and choppy etc. In 10 years I haven't found a barber /hairdresser that can cut it right,not their fault or lack of skill but his hair is horrible. Then we found Horrell at Barbers Edge and he is like a miracle worker! Seems like the other barbers do a great job too but I've never been happier or more amazed than with Horrell! The best!
I just brought my 2 y/o in for a hair cut, and I have never been so happy with a service. Everyone was so nice to talk to and I don't think I have ever laughed so hard. Most importantly, my son left with a smile on his face.
I brought my son in on Saturday morning and horell cut his hair . He did a special haircut just for him and it came out amazing. Great place, great people and thanks horell , me and my son will definitely be back again and again.
Only place I'll go to get my haircut and beard trimmed. Everyone who walks in feels like family and there's a very old school barber shop feel to it that is very welcoming. I've been coming here for over a year and I can't see myself going anywhere else. Love this place.

I brought my son there one day because he needed a cut and quick. I have never laughed so much and everyone there was so nice. They were engaging with my 7 year old son the whole time and he said he had so much fun. Barbers are top notch and you can tell they really care for their clients. This is out new spot.
