I didn't end up moving to The Avenues due to a job transfer but my experience with the staff was great! Had I stayed in the area I would have happily chosen to live there. The amenities and friendliness sold me!
Just avoid living here...not work the headache.
Do not sign a lease to live at The Avenues in Raleigh. It’s impressive on a superficial level only. I would rate the management team as poor on their best day, and there have been numerous sketchy construction projects that I suspect are only being addressed because the complex is non-compliant with North Carolina code. This review is not about the leasing staff, who are very nice, or the maintenance staff, who are also very helpful and friendly. They've been fantastic to get to know and work with while living here. I've lived in many apartments and know that problems always happen, but the extensive building issues and problems with management are what have made me a very unhappy resident.
