Charming, cozy and bohemian bar restaurant with better than average menu. Great cocktail menu.
We go often and truly like the food. This past Sunday I had the beet salad, it was fabulous! The feta was so fresh, beets perfectly tender and the dressing delish! It's a great place to enjoy some good food, drinks, music & sunshine. We've got to come back for dinner sometime soon :)
We came on Sunday night to hear the Parisota Hot Club. The sound system is great, balanced for the room, you have a good view of the band from the bar or a table. The food is excellent, with little twists on cafe favorites, e.g. I had beef tacos with some balsamic vinegar to add acid and some bite to something that otherwise is often heavy and greasy, The bar makes great classic drinks, like the Negroni. What a terrific place. I love their food, beer selection, artist selection...but when inside I prefer to sit towards the back as the sound is better. Service is hit n miss depending on how busy but last night it was great!
The Aster is a very intimate music venue with a great vibe. Crowded and fun!
