Dishonest group of people – I rented from the people at Apartment Source and had a nightmare on my hands. The staff does not understand what customer service is they simply collect rent and refuse to fix anything. Request after request was refused and when I tried to have a civil conversation with them regarding there lack of service they accused me of causing the damage. If you respect yourself, do not rent from TMG – If you must and decide to rent from TMG then get ready for a year of misery. They are not professional or a real management company. If you ever have a problem with your unit you are the maintenance person. Make sure your handy with your furnace and plumbing. Someone broke one of the windows in my unit and it took them a week to fix it, only because I called everyday until they got the point. They found a way to change our lease without notice. Chicago's Worst Management Company! – So you wake up one morning, and you see a letter in the crack of your door. We will be entering your unit in less than 12 hours. So you wake up the next morning, and you receive another letter: I know you've been paying your rent faithfully on the 5th of every month for the sole reason that we told you that you could. Awesome Company – I rented my apartment through the Apartment Source, and had a really good experience. I am renting a condo from a private landlord, and my place is AWESOME. It seems all the bad reviews on here are actually about TMG Management. Since I didn't rent one of their units, I can't say whether they're good or not. What I CAN say is this - I wanted to live in Lincoln Park, and with my price range, I figured I could only get a studio. WARNING DO NOT RENT IF YOU LIKE YOUR PRIVACY – The apartment source sucks! The last two months of renting my apartment relators consistently came over to show the house so many times that is actually disrupted my life. They give out the advertisement to about eight other realtor companies and they are all competing to sell the house. They will come over three times a day on some days, and at least once every day for weeks. Apartment source is great! TMG, however, is the worst – Apartment source is not the problem, although they share a building with TMG management and are leasing agents for their units they are NOT the same company. The people at apartment source were very helpful and friendly. during the lease signing process they sat us down and suggested we read through our lease before signing (obviously something you should be doing before signing) they were also very kind in answering any questions we might have. TMG Mngmt is the worst ! – I called TMG management to ask a simple question & I am shocked. I have never encountered such a rude person as the BOSS of the company. He was screaming on the phone and had an obnoxious tone of voice. PLease... go somewhere else. This person deserves nothing but failure in life, he has no idea how to speak to people and I hope his company seizes to exist asap.

In Response to The Posting by JMatel below.... – Im the agent that dealt with the woman below and here is my response to her "story": I have rented several units in this building and I specifically told her that dogs are not allowed in this building. I have her application in hand and it clearly states that she has 1 cat and nowhere on the application does it state that she has/or was thinking about getting a dog. DO NOT RENT – I was looking for an affordable place this past summer. However, I know you get what you pay for so I was prepared to pay a little more than I wanted for newer construction and amenities. I recently go divorced and have not lived on my own for 8 years so I was also looking for safe and secure places where I could eventually adopt a dog.
