A place to live. It’s a place to live. Not the absolute worst I’ve ever experienced but definitely not great. Roaches everywhere no matter what, HORRIBLE management, get ready to have every maintenance request completely ignored, parking is a nightmare especially if you want to have guests over, constant boiler/water/electricity “maintenance and shut-offs”. 5 of 5, do recommend I have been at the Abbey since early 2019. Everyone has alwsys worked with me and worked around my schedule and needs. I have never been stranded with any emergency as this fantastic maintenance team is always on top of things literally 24/7. Several times i would run into Roland on my daily walk and address things that need some attention and he would always be on top of it! Carol Office Manager I have lived at the Abbey for over a year, and Ms Carol has always been so helpful. Along with everyone in the office. Anytime something needs to be done, it gets done right away. The apartments are very peaceful, and relaxing. I love calling The Abbey At Hightower my home. I recommend these apartments highly.
Cockroaches, animal urine I have lived here for several years now. The first apartment I lived in, flooded twice. From the ceiling. Now I live in a different apartment. When I moved in the carpet was covered in animal urine. They refused to fix it for a week. When they did, they damage my brand new furniture. Twice my bathroom has had a leak. Learn To Live without hot water The boiler breaks all the time and we are left with no hot water. Management doesn't even bother to provide an eta for completion. They just assume it is okay to leave tenants without hot water, or no water. Another big concern is roaches. Roaches run rampant in this complex. I spray Bengal every six weeks and that's still not enough to keep the roaches away. Lived at Abbey since 2016 I have lived here since 2016 and have been in 3 different apartments (due to roommates) here around the complex. I have never had a bug problem or an issue with management. It's a good area and close to several grocery stores. Maintenance has been pretty quick anytime we have needed them. I think my only complaint is I wish the gate wouldn't break as often. But that happens almost everywhere that has a gate. Overall it's a great complex with a nice community.
Wish I could leave I haven’t been here a full month yet . I can not wait until my lease is up . From the parking , roaches , trash and not I’m without AC it is hot outside just imagine what my apartment feels like . Only thing good is the quietness
Current resident I have been living in the Abbey since Oct 2019 and i don’t understand the bad reviews. I absolutely love the beautiful property and love the actual apartment with the deep soaking tub, spacious layout and high ceilings. It’s one of the few apartments I was able to find with “wood” floors on the 3rd floor instead of only carpet. My maintenance requests have always been addressed the same day i call the front office. Excellent property to call home I Michael Grover, moved into the Abbey at Champions apartments in April. from day one, Hilda alone with the property manager Shaunda was more than helpful with moving me in and still today on 09/11/2019 Hilda is still helpful, kind and resourceful. Unfortunately Shaunda isn't with us anymore, but I've met the new property manager Joshua and is already on the job to make this property even better.
