thai food Thai food is my favorite and Thairish definitely hit the spot. I stumbled upon this place while walking home from work and was pleasantly surprised. The pad thai was tasty and the location of this place is perfect for those who live in Mt Vernon. The menu is small but the food is great!
True Authentic Thai as Homemade as it gets! – This place is a simple, authentic Thai kitchen, located on Charles Street just 1 block north of Baltimore's Washington Monument, with a Chef who is making dishes the same way his mother made for him when he was a child. Simple, Cheap, Amazing! – Not overdone like many over-Americanized Asian restaurants. Simple, healthy food. The ingredients compliment each other well. Plenty of spicy (and not-so-spicy) options. Vegetables are not overcooked. Food is prepared right in front of you because half of the restaurant is the kitchen. Best use of space ever! Who knew you could get such amazing food out of a hole in the wall?!

I've had Thai food in Thailand and in about 20 other countries and yet to see it done so poorly – Seriously you need to stay away from this place. I read negative online reviews before I went, but disregarded them because I thought they might have just been penned by foodie snobs who were eager to dis a cheapish take out spot with little ambience.
