thai food Thai food is my favorite and Thairish definitely hit the spot. I stumbled upon this place while walking home from work and was pleasantly surprised. The pad thai was tasty and the location of this place is perfect for those who live in Mt Vernon. The menu is small but the food is great!
Best Pad Thai in Maryland. This is a local's delight... a small shop with great food, low prices, and a real authenticity. Frequented by the nearby Peabody Institute students, this Thai restaurant is best when you're really hungry. The Pad Thai is excellent, mixing lime and peanut to perfection. Their coconut cream dessert is sometimes dry, but always full of coconutty goodness. I rolled into town yesterday excited with the specific goal of going to Thairish to see Kerrigan and to buy my two favorite meals. To my horror, Thairish is now closed. :( Although I use to live in Baltimore, I didn't discover Thairish until I returned here after moving back to NY. On one of my many visits back to Charm City, a friend took me there and Kerrigan suggested I try his Tofu Masaman and Vegetable Pad Thai. It was delicious! I'm visiting Baltimore after being away for four years. Just found out Thairish, my favorite place in Baltimore is closed! So sad! Does anyone have a way to contact Kim the chef? I'd give anything for a chicken pad Thai again, or at least the recipe!!!
