Went for the 1st time. Was looking forward to a new restaurant in Lexington, very disappointing. Food overpriced ordered a chicken salad and basically got chicken and lettuce for $11. My husband ordered hamburger steak and it was over cooked and the side of potatoes wouldn't satisfy a two yearold. Will not go back.
Very good food and great service. It's great that Lexington has a good steakhouse.
Our visit was friday nite ...we arrived and was seated in 20 minutes. Once we were seated we were served hot rolls with awesome butter and we of course had peanuts. Our waitress (summer) was great. We didnt have to ask for anything and she did not let us run out or empty of anything as well. Very knowledgeable on menu and food and drinks. Our food came out with a small wait but it was great . We just had dinner; our first visit but definitely not our last. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the service was excellent. Zeb took really good care of us. Highly recommended! So glad to have them in Lexington.
Just tried to eat at the new steak house, Texas Steak and Tap House. We waited 45 minutes which wasn't bad on a Friday night to be disappointed. The messed up both mine and Wesley's steak and had to recook them. He order sirloin steak with grilled shrimp. I had a ribeye. They recooked his steak correctly but mine was still over cooked. They served him the same shrimp that came out on the first steak. The manager never came to the table at all. We had to ask for refills. This was a total disappointment. Everything was great! Very impressed with the house salad and the homemade dressing was awesome! The croissants with honey cinnamon butter, to die far! Wish them the best!
I wouldn't even give them a star! Food was awful as well as the service! Trying too hard to compete with Texas road house! Will never go back and will be surprised if they stay open long!
