This is the BEST place in Wausau, Wisconsin to eat!! Mouth watering steaks made to perfection, salad crisp and fresh, fabulous onion blossom,dinner rolls with their "special" cinnamon butter, wonderful service and a meal you won't forget :)

My friends and I went to Texas Roadhouse in Rib Mountain (Wausau) to help support Molly and were sadly disappointed. A medium rare steak was cooked almost well done. Two patrons got their plates mixed up. One patron didn't get the Caesar salad they ordered. Another didn't get the shrimp they ordered.

Sister here from Arizona...always treat the baby sister to birthday meal! My meal, steak and ribs was perfect and tasty, 1 sister had fish fry, said it was ok, other sister had prime rib, said it was good! Biggest disappointment was NO blended margaritas were available, machine not working?? Really, in a place that features it's drinks! I still give it a 5...great waitress!
Excellent service , atmosphere and very good food
Every time someone drags me here, everything is loaded down with sodium. Steak was loaded, rice was heavy with it, even had coarse salt on the outside of the baked tater. Are you trying to hide cheap cuts of meat and everything else by doing this? Still not a fan.

I hadn't eaten all day and was starving! It was the first time I had a house salad as I usually have the caesar salad. As a rule most croutons are hard but these were crunchy and delicious! It is really the small things you know! My rib eye was done to perfection as always. I enjoyed the mashed potatoes and brown gravy, too! And to top it all off our young waitress was pleasant and attentive! She seemed genuinely concerned about our food and drinks being just right! She's a keeper!
