My family came from out of town to visit me because I am 35 weeks pregnant. So we all went out to Texas Roadhouse for a nice dinner, thinking it would be a great experience cuz we usually have a great experience there. However, that was not the case last night. Never a bad meal there and always friendly staff. Gotta love those buns, salted peanuts in the shell and the Wednesday night special!
I took my wife and step daughter and friend who has never been there before out to eat. The waitress we had was rude through the whole meal..putting food and drinks down in a rude manner. The end of the meal comes and she gives us the wrong bill. I kindly let her know it was the wrong bill and she takes it and goes to the cash register station. We had a wonderful time. Our food was delicious and the staff was wonderful. I do wish it wasn't so noisy.
The new floor Supervisor or Manager in red that's only been there for a couple of days made us feel welcomed and appreciated for being there. I understand that the restaurant gets busy but it's the human connection between Servers and Management that makes the place feel inviting. Overall it was an enjoyable exsperiance.
