My mom had a knee replacement on Tuesday morning and went to the 5th ortho floor and from the moment she arrived on the floor till we left on Friday morning EVERYBODY was amazing to her needs and pain control to help her get up and walking... I want to give a shout out to Andrea, Stephanie, Jordan, Caroline, Myra and others that helped her and helped to make sure my 4 day stay was as comfortable as it could be. I have been admitted 4 times so far this year starting New Years eve for a 3 week stay with the flu, shingles, and pneumonia. Had to be put in a medically induced coma due to breathing issues and during the coma I had a stroke. I received such excellent care from every one involved especially the nurses. After 3 weeks I went to rehab for a week and unfortunately was readmitted on April 1st for another 2 weeks and still got excellent care. I'm here again since Friday June 2nd having to start dialysis. I've been there twice and I was seen really quickly and the paramedics, drs, and nurses were always great! And yesterday I was seen and gone within the hour. Thank you!
Disgusting how the nurses treated us after it hit midnight. I walked out without discharge papers after I was threatened by the nurse that if I did not stay overnight that I would not receive my high blood pressure meds prescription. The charge nurse even told my girlfriend that I could die in my sleep and that the hospital would not be held liable... Wonderful bed side manner folks....
Short wait time and friendly staff,. I would recommend them based on two visits now compared to bad visits at Seton and their children's hospital
I could not be more impressed with the staff in the BMT unit. Just plain great people
This past weekend my cousin went in but God had other plans for him. The staff at St David's Hospital took great care of my aunt and my cousin while being there. I would like to thank the nurses in ICU for allowing me to be inside with my aunt and had Mr. John take care of my daughter outside in the waiting room. It was a very hard time but they were very understanding and we will be forever grateful for their time and patience. Thank you so much.
