Great service and food our waitress and the manager were on point

yuck ... garlic mashed potatoes where more garlic than potatoes.. steak blah... server was nice ... place did smell unpleasant... way overpriced ... I won't return..
I've been several times but this experience didn't "knock it out of the park" for me. Usually much better. Asked waiter specifically if there were any specials for the day. Maybe it was a misunderstanding but we weren't offered any and told no. Table behind us was offered a special 2 for $20ish deal. Broccoli was warm but still very raw, chicken fried steak yummy, HH margarita mostly ice but good. We'll have to try it again. Every night can't be a homerun.
Our trip to the Texas land and cattle restaurant was a very good one. Our waitress was April she was amazing as well. I ordered the brisket nachos with barbecue sauce and the barbecue sauce was a bit hot for me and I try to eat it but it was not easy for me to eat so I asked April if they could please take it back and make me a new one with no barbecue sauce and she did. I think Texas Land & Cattle is a great restaurant. Their Ribeye Steaks melt in your mouth. It was my husband birthday. It was a great choice.
Worst experience ever at texas land and cattle. Little thin steak. No baked potatoes. Loaded potatoes were so full of garlic they were inedible.
This is one of our favorite places in Austin. We go there for special events and things. Thank you and wait staff is very friendly.
