I see a lot of bad reviews, but im not one of them. I have received great service and quality materials from the all of the staff that i have dealt with. My orders have been complete, and shipped in a timely manner. When something was out of stock, i received a phone call the same day, and the staff worked with me to make me satisfied. I read the reviews and almost did not order. I am happy that I did. I received 2 very nice blanks and the shipping time was just a couple of days. I realize every company can and will make mistakes, but it seems Texas Knifemaker's Supply has sorted out some of theirs.
I ordered it on a Wednesday and it arrived Saturday. Everything nicely wrapped and labeled.
If I pay extra for faster shipping, that's what I expect. My package has been in the "pre-shipment" stage all week and hasn't been received by USPS yet. When I call TKS, I'm told that when I track a package, it's not going to show me where my package is at. When I try correct the lady to tell her that's exactly how tracking a package works, she begins to act like she can't hear me and hangs up on me. This is the first and last time I'll have any dealings with this sorry company.
Lack of customer service and initiative. They do not seem to care to help you out with simple questions.
I have bought several times from Texas Knifemaker's Supply and so far I have been amazed with their service. Everything came packaged just the way I would have expected, great. I will definitely be buying from them for a long time, hope to build a great relationship in the future.
