Shouts out to my caregivers over the last 24 hours...some might say I’m partial but still others would also recognize that because I am a team member of the organization, I’m probably more critical. The staff and Doctor..Dr.Floyd...were the most gracious and knowledgeable med. staff we've ever encountered...wait time almost none existent...such an amazing facility...
They just discharged my husband prematurely. His doc was Dr. Ibraheem Abbas. He had a GI issue and his abdomen is more distended, tender, and firm than it was when he was admitted a few days ago. They never diagnosed anything. The night shift nurses on Harris 3 seemed clueless and wouldn't answer his call light- and he was not a needy patient. I picked up a patient that was released from this hospital. He had traumatic brain injury, could not speak and no means of transportation. They did not offer him any social service they just released him in the street confused. A kind lady saw him and realized what happened and called him a Lyft. I was lucky enough to be his driver. Upon arrived to The Bridge homeless shelter I went inside to explain his condition according to the documentation he allowed me to read in order to assist him. Shame on you Texas Health.
