Strange triage system, but staff friendly. Seemed like a long wait as a transfer for potential TIA/cardiac issues but overall I was well cared for. When interacting with staff, they always treated me with care and respect, but the wait in between things seemed excessive. Everything was explained well and they took time to answer my questions and address my concerns. I’ve been here twice now and do recommend but be prepared to wait.

My wife had a severe allergic reaction and was in respiratory distress. I took her to the ER where we were checked in by 3 young girls who showed no sense of urgency that my wife could not breathe. She was asked to fill out a paper and have a seat. I asked the young ladies did they know what anaphylactic shock was and she said a nurse will be with is soon. Delivered here in August. I was originally at Medical City in Arlington but the whole hospital is a mess. The staff will not help you and will definitely make you feel like a burden. I'm so glad I discharged myself and came to Arlington Memorial .The Staff is amazing super friendly. And definitely go out of thier way for you. Had the same great experience yesterday with surgery as well.

My daughter is a college student at UT she had a headache told her to take her bp. It was 234/160. She went in, the it had come down but still elevated. They did nothing no blood work, ekg. Told her she wasn’t having a heart attack. We have family history of strokes, hypertension and heart disease. I am in shock of the incompetence. They did charge her over 1000.00 which is not even the amount of our deductible. I called spoke with the charge nurse who was very nice said the Dr had already left. Said she could come back in.

My dad was taken here and was brain dead in the ICU. I went to say goodbye before they pulled the breathing tube out and I noticed that their were literally maggots all up his nose. He was still alive but unable to move. Then the doctors and nurses try to make it seem like we put them there. My father died later that week and that picture will be in my nightmares for thr rest of my life and no one took responsibility.
