I had my passenger's door window shattered last night in a break in. I called the Texas Farm Bureau office this morning and received little to no help on the issue. They could've cared less and after I was directed to the claims office, they were unable to find me a repair shop in ********, **. I'm not sure why I even have automobile insurance in the first place when I received no guidance on this. I would highly recommend anyone looking to purchase automobile insurance with Texas Farm Bureau to think twice, they're very eag... read more

I am so pleased with the courtesy and support from the Texas Farm Bureau office in Missouri City, Tx. They have been so helpful, after my townhouse flooded following the Texas freeze in February 2021. I have given them 5 stars for good reason! Thank you!

Ive been 8 months trying to get the online and app to work. Every time they update their software my password no longer works. I’ll call at the IT dept. no one’s ever answered in eight months goes to voicemail they never ever return your phone calls. My local office says I can’t do nothing about it so I call executive director in all the people underneath him and no return phone calls. This has been an unbelievable experience from a company that I’ve been with for years and years.Their business model is crawl into a closet a... read more

We have been with Farm Bureau for years. Our New Boston, Texas agent has been outstanding. The office staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable and have never had any problems with my insurance with Farm Bureau. Great insurance company for home, auto, life.

I switched from **** due to insurance premiums after 26 years. Texas Farm Bureau provided a much lower premium and having an agent assigned to my accounts was another deciding factor. I have yet to file a claim and only filed a couple of low cost claims with ****during the 26 years I had them. Hopefully the coverage and customer service do not make me go back to ****.

I've been a loyal customer with Texas Farm Bureau many years. I have four vehicles and 1 home policy with them. I dropped an older model vehicle (1984) and added a newer model to the policy. The agent wasn't available like on many occasions. The secretary updated the policy. I answered all of her questions. I told to make sure this vehicle as the same coverage as my other 3 vehicles had. Well I had to put the vehicle in the shop only to find out they placed liability on a 2010 Mercedes that had a lienholder. I had to pay $22... read more

Terrible insurance and agent- ******** ********** Dropped our insurance from full to liability without our say so. After only inquiring price difference. She admitted her wrong doing but said there’s nothing she can do. Farm bureau will not cover damages to our vehicle as she had dropped our full coverage. She has used an email from us stating to leave insurance as is which we meant full coverage against us. But because she had already change it from full to liability, the under writers are saying we meant leave as liability... read more

Texas Farm Bureau doesn't protect their paying customers, they throw them under the bus! I was in a fender bender on private property. The extent of the damage to my vehicle was wrinkled paint on my bumper. I was in a Mustang and the other person was in an Altima. The woman claimed injury but got out of the car, paced back and forth, refused the ambulance who's medics said they saw no sign of injury and then who drove the car home. The woman attempted to sue me for $2000+ in property damage and then bodily injury on top of t... read more

I had coverage for my vehicles through Texas Farm Bureau since May of `16 & thought that I was covered for rental car in case of an accident. I was sideswiped by a taxi driver & Farm Bureau wouldn't lift a finger to help me. A person who said she was "managing" my claim stated to me that it appeared that the other party was in the wrong, & to wait for an adjuster to look at my car. After one did, THREE weeks later, he said that the cost of repair to my vehicle was half of either of the estimates which I had gotten. After Far... read more

Business response:

We have reviewed this claim and the policy of Mr. *****. We will address the different issues in the review individually. Rental Coverage Mr. *****’s initial policy with Texas Farm Bureau was effective May 5, 2016. He did not purchase the rental endorsement on that policy or on subsequent Six Month Auto policies until November 20, 2018, nine days after this accident. Investigation This claim occurred on November 11, 2018, at approximately 9:20 a.m., and it was reported by Mr. ***** the next day, on November 12, 2018. An adju... read more
