A wondefurl hospital to go give birth. Wonderful doctors and nurses.
I took my granddaughter here because her oncologist recommended transferring her care to tch. I was hesitant from the beginning because I’ve never had a positive experience with tch but I’d never been to the one in Houston before only the one in Dallas. The Er had 1 bathroom all the kids was sharing and it had roach motels under the toilet with several dead roaches in them. I just don’t understand how I’m always told Texas children’s hospital is amazing!! I hated it and we will never return to the hospital part. I’ll go to their clinic for her clinical trial but if she ever has to be admitted again I refuse to take her to the hospital. For a hospital to have the nerve to tell me my daughters pain is fake and nothing more than a learned behavior. For that same hospital to lie to me and give my daughter anxiety meds but tell me it’s for her pain. On top of that it took over an hour to get a nurse... read more

Called the on call doctor on a weekend because my 9 month old was having an allergic reaction. Dr. Miller called back promptly and reassured us we were doing everything correctly. She called back two more times to check up on us throughout the day. Wonderful to be able to get a physician on the phone in minutes (on a weekend!!) who also followed up twice! We are in good hands!Thank you Dr. Miller and Texas Children’s!
