We love the providers and the service at Texas Children's Hospital! We went to the clinical care center yesterday and saw Dr. Maricevich, plastic surgeon. She was so nice and down to earth. Saw Dr. Tara Rosenberg, ENT & Dr. Christina Wilson, SLP. One thing I will say was the wait yesterday was more than myself and 2 year old could handle. Next time would appreciate less overbooking. Also got to say hi to our friend Dr. Wirthlin, orthodontist. Most amazing man ever!
My son was taken Texas Children's Hospital PICU in The Medical Center via ambulance on June 21, 2017 due to his blood pressure reaching stroke levels. The ER team was awesome then he was transfered to PICU. The PICU Doctor on duty advised us that they would be giving my son a couple of meds in order to slowly lower his pressure. When the meds didn't appear to be working like the doctor knew they should (levels remained extremely high)he later realized that the dosage was incorrect... See my son is 19yrs (6'0 and 228lbs).. The PCA named Victor on the 6th floor over in the Abercrombie building and her nurse Nelson were such wonderful caring young men. I felt better knowing she was in thier care when i had to go home after my visit with her
TCH in the medical center and The Woodlands ALWAYS take care of me!
The Nurses and staff are amazing! Just make sure if there is a "team" of doctors; that everyone is communicating among themselves and everyone is on the same page. It makes for a smoother transition for you and your child.
