Wow. This place is awesome! The nurses, X-ray tech, and Dr Young are wonderful. EKG, blood work, urine, CXR, & CT Scan in such a SHORT time. All the amenities of home, but care of top notch professionals. A+

I was unsure if wanted to try this place but at 1:30 AM Tuesday decided that we would go there. My husband was burning up with fever and in a lot of body pain. He is never sick and has a high pain tolerance so I know he was defiantly sick enough to go to an ER but was not looking forward to the long wait and the normal crowd so decided to try Texarkana Emergency Center. I want to thank Dr. Groom, Dr. Young and a great nursing staff for taking such great care of my granddaughter Skilynn last night. Thank you for arranging her transport to Arkansas Children's Hospital. I don't feel I could ever thank all of you enough.
I don't really know what to say to let people know just how amazing this center and it's staff really are. I wasn't inside filling out paperwork for no more than 3 minutes before being called back. I had 3 personnel within the first 5 minutes in triage asking medical questions and or checking my vitals etc. I'm sitting in the patient room I was moved too and one nurse tell me to lay down relax call for help if need be then hands me a remote for the tv. Went with my daughter today due to her extreme headache, blurred vision, and running in to door face from the headache. She called ahead to see if the center had the capability to perform spinal taps, considering we've dealt with her two brain diseases for the last 16 years and know that her pressures are obviously up when she cannot get any relief from the pain meds she takes daily.
