So far, so good! Summer communication clear about move-in process, insurance, etc. Move-in day went super smoothly with lots of staff on-site to help and answer questions. My daughter's apartment was bright and clean. Appliances seemed new and everything freshly painted - looking forward to a great year.
Its noisy on weekends (not because of your floor neighbors but because the parties hosted next door at the frat house) and most of the residences are frat guys. But if you dont have any misguided ideas of it being anything other than a half decent apartment complex that is directly adjacent to a frat house, then nothing will really come to a surprise to you.
Want to have mysterious holes appear in your apartment after you move out? Want to pay $200 for doors made, literally, made out of cardboard? Get charged for a window that was broken from the outside by a random passerby? Deal with incompetent management? Live in an overpriced dump where the ceilings are paper thin? Then Texan 26 is the place for you!
Texan 26 towed me and I live at the apartment complex and pay for a parking permit. Apparently the permit was not up to date and they never gave us a new permit sticker! The least you can do is give someone a warning before towing.
We were visiting a friend for one night, we parked in the garage for less than 12 hours and they towed us. The garage was also empty, so many available spots because it was the middle of the summer.
