I had eye muscle surgery for exotropia years ago. (My outer eye muscles are too strong and, when I'm tired, my eyes get pulled outward.) The shelf life for this surgery is a little over 5 years. I have gone 14 and am only just now making an appointment to go back. I had such a good experience with Dr Terry, who came very highly recommended, that even though I moved away I am making arrangements to come back to town and stay locally so he can do this next one.
