Dr. Reat is unprofessional and entirely lacking in compassion or empathy. In a consultation, I described to him how I had recently fallen after injuring my knee, and his reaction was to tell me I was "a delicate flower" and too fragile to be helped. He also said, "You fall more than anyone I know." (I am young and otherwise healthy and have only fallen once.) While he might be an excellent surgeon, his condescending attitude and pompous demeanor are unacceptable for any healthcare professional.
Husband had knee replacement surgery, now permanently disabled. I had back surgery there, now permanently disabled.
RecommendedSeen Dr.Ivie his bedside manners were great we signed in when we arrived filled out some paper work put in the exam room he came right in reviewed my xrays with us gave us his treatment plan then the nurse was back in with all the appts scheduled for therapy and my pre-op appt with him and we were there less than an hour. Staff was very friendly and helpful from the beginning of the process to the end
