This doctor was less than candid about the possible side effects of a cortisone shot. She was not forthcoming. I sensed, afterwards, her goal was to collect more money from the visit. There was no reason for a cortisone shot on a first visit. Other avenues could have and should have been tried first. She never even discussed those other options with me.
