This place is nearly always packed, and with good reason. This restaurant has been the place for "gringos" to enjoy good Mexican food, good company and potent potables. The stone walls and lack of windows make it a bit cave-like, but the bright orange booths give it a zip of fiesta color and an unpretentious feel. Known for the Green Corn Tamales and Chile Rellenos, it also offers burros, chimichangas and tasty margaritas.

I hadn't been to the Tee Pee since the 80's, and the 60's before that. I took my brother to lunch there while I was in Arizona celebrating my 60th birthday. It was the same as I remember and we were served by a family member. I love this place and I hope you never change it.
