This place is nearly always packed, and with good reason. This restaurant has been the place for "gringos" to enjoy good Mexican food, good company and potent potables. The stone walls and lack of windows make it a bit cave-like, but the bright orange booths give it a zip of fiesta color and an unpretentious feel. Known for the Green Corn Tamales and Chile Rellenos, it also offers burros, chimichangas and tasty margaritas.

I've been going to the Teepee since the late 60's. Nothing has changed in that time. It was great then and it's still great now.
Been eating there for 45 years. Love it. Old fashion Mexican food. Real green and red chilli flavors.
I ate there starting in 1979 and I love this place they have the best food. It is consistent .
