This place is nearly always packed, and with good reason. This restaurant has been the place for "gringos" to enjoy good Mexican food, good company and potent potables. The stone walls and lack of windows make it a bit cave-like, but the bright orange booths give it a zip of fiesta color and an unpretentious feel. Known for the Green Corn Tamales and Chile Rellenos, it also offers burros, chimichangas and tasty margaritas.

I love the vegan option of rice & beans & love the guacamole! <3 this is my family's restaurant & we love the teepee!
Grew up here have been going to tee pee for 40 years and they still have the best guacamole cheese crisp and great margaritas And service, and atmosphere it's the best
Tee Pee Tap Room is always excellent! Yesterday we sat out on the patio and enjoyed a cool lunchtime breeze. Two cold beers in hand, a couple of cheese crisps, and we had a nice lunchtime snack. Our waiter was fun and served us quickly. The food is always fantastic. When in town, we try to stop by when we can.

Maybe we went on a bad Saturday night but at 8pm the place was empty and the food was not very good. Will give it another shot before putting it on my off limits list.
Awesome deliciousness of authentic Mexican eats. Totally recommend it.
