My opinion lol you really want to know do I love unions of coarse do I love what they stand for hell yeah am I part of one hell yeah its name is teamsters. I file a grievance and when its time to meet with the company my president is more preoccupied with the time than to fight for me. If local 89 goes on strike will the international back us up. Also will we draw our funds from the Ohio strike fund. I hope it would be more then $55.00 like it was in 1996 when Ron Carey called a strike.
I still haven't seen my raise yet at UPS because we are still working under the old contract, which expired July 31. It's going on almost a whole year now. The teamsters only want more union jobs to collect more union dues. After, they sell out the very people they've helped organize.
