I have been in Teamsters since1977 have had a good life thanks to good wages lot of what unions can do has to do with what laws they have to deal with lot different what they can do now compared to years ago when all unions stuck together

My opinion lol you really want to know do I love unions of coarse do I love what they stand for hell yeah am I part of one hell yeah its name is teamsters. I file a grievance and when its time to meet with the company my president is more preoccupied with the time than to fight for me. I'm tired of no support from my Union brotherhood in union meetings or in contract negotiations. Settle settle is what I hear our union hierarchy says. If local 89 goes on strike will the international back us up. Also will we draw our funds from the Ohio strike fund. I hope it would be more then $55.00 like it was in 1996 when Ron Carey called a strike.

I still haven't seen my raise yet at UPS because we are still working under the old contract, which expired July 31. It's going on almost a whole year now. I've been working for the same pay for almost 2 years now. I am disgusted with our entire country from the top right down to the bottom. Obama is the worst president we have ever had. He thinks he is above the law and can write his own laws anytime he feels like it. He tramples on the religious liberty of Christians and promotes a cesspool of immorality. The teamsters only want more union jobs to collect more union dues. After, they sell out the very people they've helped organize.
