Although I am not personally a teamster my late husband was. He worked at UPS until he passed away in 2012 at the age of 39. My children and I have been provided health insurance for the past 5 years because the Teamsters always worked to ensure their members were provided excellent benefits. I was very happy to earn my rank as a veteran CDL operator and become a Teamsters member over 2yrs ago. I'm an active member of the local 355 here in Baltimore. Of the company that I was employed with and gained union membership through, I'm the only one that I see consistently attending the monthly Sunday morning meetings.
