Well my pension was cut 70 percent after paying dues for 30 years to teamsters local 707. My life is now a nightmare and to date no one can tell me where my money went. Not a word from HOFFA or the international brotherhood of teamsters. Now at 68 years old I have to find a job or sell my home. I feel Betrayed!

I was chief steward at the now closed GAF Floortile plant in Houston, Local 968. My best union work was in that local. ✊🏽

I joined teamsters in late 1980's and have proudly supported throughout good and bad times. Unions are the backbone to ensuring workers a safe and fair environment. Stand firm and be loud Teamsters!!!

RIGHT TO WORK LAW In my experience wages are lower in a right to work state and often much lower as raises (lol) are "granted/merited" far less in frequency as well. I worked at Grey Eagle Distributors for 10 years as a member of then Teamster Local 133. It was via a union negotiated/agreed to by management contract every 3 years being submitted to/ voted upon by the union membership at large for approval or rejection aka a democratic process. Sounds like I'm not the only one that questions the integrity of the teamsters I was member for 16 years with no break in service was hurt on the job and now wheelchair bound totally disabled and they are denying me my pension They put on a front how they help those in need but When a member needs to collect on something they payed into They turn their back
