$ucker Punched – Although it is obvious that affiliates of this restaurant have been hilariously and misleadingly inflating reviews on this restaurant, I must say the ambience at Teak was indeed impressive. It had a massive first floor dining room with a giant fish tank that spans the full length of the bar, a nice private area for parties upstairs, and a beautiful view of the Hudson and NYC. TEAK HAS THE BEST BRUNCH IN HOBOKEN – TEAK ON THE HUDSON HAS "THE BEST BRUNCH IN HOBOKEN" WITH UNLIMITED DRINKS AND SOME SWEET LIVE JAZZ, NOT TO MENTION THE ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET, FLUFFY EGGS, CRISP BACON , BAGELS AND MUFFINS, THE SPREAD GOES ON AND ON. IM REALLY IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE. YOU SHOULD GO AND FALL IN LOVE TOO. BEST SUSHI THIS SIDE OF THE RIVER – WELL WHERE DO I START... IT SEEMS SOME PEOPLE DONT KNOW GOOD FOOD WHEN THEY EAT IT I GO TO TEAK AT LEASRT ONCE A WEEK. THE FOOD AND SERVICE ARE ALWAYS FLAWLESS... THE DRINKS ARE CREATIVE AND DELICIOUS, AS IS THE FOOD. THE PRICES ARE A BIT HI FOR SUSHI BUT THE ROLLS ARE HUGE... DID I MENTION HUGE AND THE FRESHEST IVE HAD THIS SIDE OF THE RIVER. Great Location - Creative Sushi – Right across the street from Hoboken PATH station. Decor is attractive. Luckily I was in the party of company paid credit card - otherwise, price was on the higher end. Creative sushi, but someone like me, who favours traditional sushi pieces, may not return for food.

Stick to drinks at the bar! – I took my boyfriend and his mom to dinner at Teak last Saturday night. I had read so much about the decor (lighting, music, statues, wall fishtank), that I had to check it out. We sat outside to enjoy the weather, but this is NOT recommended as the tables were on such a slant. I had to constantly ensure that my martini didn't topple over! Freshest fish out of the Hudson! – I recently visited Hoboken's famous TEAK restaurant and was very disappointed. I will admit, the interior decoration is beautiful, but that's where your experience will stop. Seating: My group was seated outside along the sidewalk. It was a pleasant night with a cool breeze, so I figured it would be enjoyable. What I didn't expect was to sit on an incline or decline depending on which side of the table I sat at. LOVE THIS PLACE – I WENT THERE ON THURSDAY NIGHT, I HEARD THEY HAVE A NEW SPRING MENU SO I WENT TO GIVE IT A TRY. WOW THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS PERFECTLY COOKED AND I PRACTICALLY LICKED MY PLATE, THE SUSHI WAS FRESH AND INVENTIVE, LIKE NONE IVE HAD BEFORE. i've had better – Honestly, this place is gorgeous. The decor and ambience are extraordinary, however, the food and service were literally mediocre. The appy lettuce wraps came with wilted lettuce and the filling looked like my dog's mushed up evening meal, no joke (and didn't taste much better). Our waiter knocked over my martini and my man's beer and laughed stating "s%$* happens" , not exactly professional service do you think?
