We have had a small business account with TCF for about 5 years. They are continually neglecting to process deposits from their after-hours drop box. It's been almost a week since we made the last deposit and it's still not showing up online as being deposited. I think it's time to try a different bank. I don't recommend doing business with them.

This is the unorganized company I've ever dealt with when it comes to home loans. I've put in paper work over three months ago 7/2019 and have been given the run-around and their is no management control over applications. I wish I would have known this before I opened up my bank account. I guess I will be moving all my accounts to the credit union.

In 2009 we took out a Home Equity Loan. In 2012 we closed on this account when we refinanced our mortgage with a Mortgage company. We received a letter and the title stated that is was closed & sent to the register of deeds in our city. This year(2019) we went to refinance our loan due to the lower interest rate. We started this process in July & found out in August from our processor & Title company that TFC never processed this document to our register of deeds. I do not want to be associated with public reviews, and therefore have never left one. I will make an exception for TCF. Obviously, it doesn't get posted with a pen name. 1. My account is always close to 0 after TCF has closed 3 or more nearby locations. I can only use mobile deposit. However, a limit of 2 checks/1500 is quite exotic. And then, it's difficult to pay anyone from this account. So an unauthorized transaction put me a few bucks below 0. That transaction has been reversed less than 24 hours later. I do not want my uncommon name pop up in searches in connection with reviewing this clown bank. They can verifiy my identy with the help of the complaint I placed a few minutes ago with identical text. The BBB helped me settled a case with TCF recently. After they closed down several locations, I can only use mobile deposit. So, basically, I cannot use it at all because of all of their limits and that you can hardly pay anyone besides credit card companies from that account. One Star is my only option. They deserve nothing. Our company uses secure checks with water marks and halo grams. On June 18th, 2019 our accountant noticed a fraudulent check cashed from and International company, GSS hair in the amount $3,850.00. The check cashed by TCF bank was obviously manufactured and the signature forged or copied. We added my husband to my account last month and provided them with his id and social security card. They did not take a copy of it at the time so they sent us a letter stating we needed to bring up the card by 7/22/19. On 7/8/19 I noticed they froze my account. I contacted them and they said I cannot have my money until I bring up the card. been banking there 42 years and this is the worst bank ever, added fees constantly, have to spend time trying to get fees off my account , today i spend over three hours trying to get a fee removed, by customer service, could not do it myself and could not get the help i needed from customer service they suggested i go to the branch and they would help me, at the branch they could not help even after waiting an hour for help, i know how bad they are so i called ahead and made a appointment and when got their only one person ... read more
