Went to TCF bank at 16999 E Quincy Ave Aurora, CO and asked the teller for my account number and routing number and he gave the wrong routing number. So now my taxes and stimulus can’t be direct deposited. Because this banker didn’t take 3 seconds to double check numbers I get to wait and figure out how to get my money. Appalled. I just stopped by TCF in Shorewood. Waited for 10 minutes in the drive thru lane to simply get quarters since my bank and others are closed in Shorewood. The woman told me she could not give me quarters since I'm not an account holder even though I have family members with accounts. What kind of garbage policy is that? Terrible customer service especially during COVID-19. C'mon!
I cannot login to online banking nor can call them
If I could give this company less than one star, I would they are absolute crooks.
Everything I've read that customers have said about TCF Bank are true and then some worst bank ever to deal with my recommendation don't even think about dealing with him
TCF Bank makes millions of dollars by counting "Pending Transactions" against account holder's balances, and then assessing overdraft fees when the "Pending Transactions" have not even "Posted" to the account yet. 1) A "Pending Transaction" just means a bank card was swiped and the transaction is in it's early stages of being processed. The funds HAVE NOT been withdrawn from the account. 2) The "Posting Date" is the day when the funds from the transaction are actually deducted from the account. TCF is horrible! The worst bank in America!!! Customer service sucks and the bank steals your money.
TCF employers have no clue what is going on. You call the number on their website and they give you an even harder time then request you go into the bank for all needs. Refuse to help you over the phone and also, they will not help you without knowing your account number. You cannot provide your name and last 4 of social like every other company. I will be moving all my accounts.
They are always making mistakes and then close the account while they “investigate”. Customer service is horrible and they don’t help at all.
