Me and my husband went here tonight based on the reviews. That might be the last time I judge a place based on reviews. The service was extremely slow, we sat right near the kitchen and bathroom so the foot traffic was ridiculous. We ordered a Paloma and pina colada, took over 20 minutes for those drinks only to send them back. They were served in tiny glasses and completely watered down. The food was okay, not much flavor and smaller portions. We ended up going to los rancheros in DeKalb for our drinks and thank god we did.... read more

Got to take my friend here for the first time today and she is as hooked as I am now!!! Our waitress Michelle m was always amazing!! The owner is always the nicest and comes to greet everyone. Always love the experience you get here!! Also make sure to get the guacamole!!!

Have been living in the area a couple of years now but didn't even realize Taxco was here. Saw it a couple of months ago, asked my petsitter about it, he said it had great food. Each time, we've tried something different. The food is always plentiful & the taste is always spot on, the people always very friendly, waitress always attentive but not overbearing. One of these days, we'll have to try an outdoor table. I give it 5 stars.
