TaxAudit is a complete waste of time and money. All they do is ask you to provide to them what the state asked for and then they in turn give it to the state. It only adds a layer between the parties involved. They do not provide any meaningful service and in most cases did not even relay the information I provided to the state auditing me. I had to file an appeal on my own and work directly with the state. I think TaxAudit.com is in business due to their inside tracks as it is sold online after you use ***** *** to do your returns. I was audited for three years and was given a local person to represent me. This guys dropped the ball so bad that they could not do anything even after I complained to Intuit and they gave me another person. This man could not figure out how to work his computer and he passed an important deadline that could not be corrected.. This group, from the beginning, did not want to handle my tax audit. I have paid for their services for years (7) and never needed (*or thought I needed) their services, until now. The group is in California and they call you when it suits them and they do not answer your phone calls as Dale, *************, person number 6 with the organization, told me because she was eating her lunch. Terrible. Their contractor out of Willow Grove, PA was provided with documentation organized electronically via their email system, as requested. He never reviewed or even acknowledged the files sent to him. At their office, it was clear that the CPA wasn't technology savy, even though he had 45 years of experience.
