My family had a bad experience tonight at this place. Spent $40 on a meal that was bad. Wife and daughter split a pizza that was warm to say the least. I ordered a Reuben sandwich that I only took two bites out of it for it was cold...this was the second one for the first was dropped back in the kitchen, so I was told . Just left there! My husband went to order a beer and the waitress didn't even look at his id and told him she couldn't accept it cause it was vertical she wouldn't even look at it to see if he was of age( which he is). By far the worst customer service ever.
Everything on the menu is great ..spaghetti and meatballs-burger and fries-italian beef sandwiches with the specialty onion rings. Even the coleslaw was delicious
I've never been disrespected at a restaurant like I was recently at the Tavern. A small issue with my bill led me to speak to a manager who was rude, disrespectful, and had no customer service skills. I work in the food service industry myself, and I absolutely understand stresses run high, but I certainly didn't expect that to be taken out on me as a polite customer.
