Tavern on the Hill has, for the last many years, been our favorite restaurant! We loved taking guests there and showing off the view of the valley from the deck on a lovely summers evening! Couple that with our favorite menu items and it was a perfect memorable experience! We are, however, not please with the new menu. Our favorite dishes of Shrimp marquese and Gorgonzola steak tips are no longer offered. The menu choices have been reduced by half and a barbecue menu has been a added. The view was amazing and the food was really good as well.
We hosted our family reunion's big dinner at Tavern on the Hill last night, and it was wonderful! Thirty happy humanoids left the restaurant feeling totally impressed with the view, food, and service. Yay! And thank you Syd and Heather, and especially Amy for your service!

You can't beat the view and laid back atmosphere. On top of that the servers are friendly with genuine conversation. Love the menu and food . A true favorite.

A hidden jewel with a wonderful view. Excellent BBQ, smoked on premise. The barbecued beef brisket melted in your mouth with some spicy collard greens and some of the best pit beans that I ever had. �

This restaurant has decreased their selections on the menu, were out of half of them including burgers (how are you out of burgers of all things), out of the specials, got my order wrong, brought out another dish that was wayyyyy under cooked and not edible. I left the restaurant without having dinner. Service was terrible as usual but we usually over look that. Will NOT be going back.
