A hidden jewel with a wonderful view. Excellent BBQ, smoked on premise. The barbecued beef brisket melted in your mouth with some spicy collard greens and some of the best pit beans that I ever had. �

This restaurant has decreased their selections on the menu, were out of half of them including burgers (how are you out of burgers of all things), out of the specials, got my order wrong, brought out another dish that was wayyyyy under cooked and not edible. I left the restaurant without having dinner. Service was terrible as usual but we usually over look that. Will NOT be going back.
This was one of my favorite restaurants until last week. My wife and I always got the beef tips. I asked the waitress why it wasn't on the menu. She said she wasn't sure. Three of us decided to try the brisket. It was cold, dry, and fatty. We were very disappointed, as the food had always been fantastic. The service was also slow, very slow. I've been loyal to this restaurant for many years, and it continues to be a great place to take out of town guests, celebrate events, and simply enjoy a great meal, in a wonderful atmosphere. The food, service, and view are all wonderful. What a great spot, we're fortunate to have it!
Tavern on the Hill has been my absolute favorite restaurant for quite a few years. The blackened beef tips is by far the most amazing meal ever! I honestly have dreams about them! My boyfriend and I come for dinner just about every 2 weeks so I can get my “fix”. Last night we came in for dinner and my heart was crushed! They took the beef tips off of the menu! Chicken Risotto is so amazing & wine along, with the views it’s perfect!
We love Tavern on the Hill and have always had such a wonderful experience there. My husband and I went there the night we got engaged, we had our reception dinner there after our small family wedding and have made it a tradition to have our anniversary dinner there as well. The food is amazing (blackened beef tips are my favorite), the waitstaff is always very pleasant and the atmosphere is very comfortable. It’s always a great night out and continues to be our favorite place to go.
